Sears Optical Shop : Shop-in-Shop (2 weeks)
Brief : Move a traditionally located optical business, located within the licensed corridor, and relocate it to the main sales floor. Focus on creating a seamless and enjoyable customer experience in the new location by providing exceptional service, a well-organized layout, and a welcoming atmosphere. Evaluate the space on the main sales floor to ensure it meets the requirements for an optical business in terms of layout, lighting, accessibility, and other necessary amenities.
Sears Denim Shop : Unisex Denim Shop (2 weeks)
Brief :
Modern, sleek design with a mix of industrial and contemporary aesthetics. Incorporate smart mirrors and fitting rooms equipped with denim-fit technology for a personalized fitting experience. Use innovative displays to showcase the denim collection and highlight the technology used in the garments.
Provide personalized styling consultations using denim-fit technology to recommend the best styles for each customer. Offer customization options, allowing customers to choose their denim style, fit, wash, and distress levels for a truly unique pair of jeans.
Sears Connected Shop: Shop-in-Shop (2 weeks)
Brief : Create a Shop-in-Shop concept focused on connected products, showcasing smart and technology-driven items. Modern and minimalist design with an emphasis on technology aesthetics. Interactive displays showcasing various connected products and smart devices. Tech-savvy ambiance with digital screens displaying product features, benefits, and real-life applications.
Sears Connected community : Kmart Box Concept (3 weeks)
Brief : Transforming an existing Kmart store into a trade show-style venue for digital brands with a community-style atmosphere. Repurposing the space to accommodate various tech-focused exhibitors and interactive displays that create a family–friendly environment with a stage area for workshops, panel discussions, and presentations focusing on the latest trends, tech advancements, and industry insights.
Kohl's Amazon Shop : Shop-in-Shop (4 weeks)
Brief :
Integrate Amazon's returns process and product offerings into a designated section within the Kohl's store. This collaboration allows customers to conveniently return Amazon purchases and explore Amazon-branded products.
Kohl's Amazon Go + Bookstore : Shop-in-Shop (4 weeks)
Brief : Integrate Amazon's book selection and the Amazon Go store experience into a designated section within the Kohl's store.
Kohl's 20K Active Store : Stand-alone store (3 weeks)
Brief :
Create a concept store that revolves around inspiring and supporting an active and healthy lifestyle for customers. The store aims to be a go-to destination for athletic wear, fitness gear, wellness products, and educational resources for maintaining a balanced and active life.
Kohl's Millennial Store : Stand-alone store (3 weeks)
Brief : The concept should revolve around creativity, modernity, and innovation—offering a dynamic and ever-evolving shopping experience that aligns with the trends and interests of Millennials and the younger age group. The space should encompass a modern, chic, and urban theme with bright, bold colors, contemporary design elements, and innovative displays to capture the attention of the target demographic.
Kohl's Levis : In-aisle launch pad (1 week)
Brief : Create an in-aisle concept for Levi's Jeans using existing "launch pad" fixturing. Design a visually appealing and immersive experience that draws customers in, educates them about Levi's products, and encourages them to make informed purchases.
Kohl's Zazzle Shop : Shop-in-Shop (2 weeks)
Brief : Design a space that allows customers to personalize and create unique items tailored to their tastes. Zazzle is known for its customizable products ranging from apparel to home decor. The concept centers around personalization, creativity, and uniqueness. Customers have the opportunity to design and customize their own products, allowing them to express their individuality.
Rapid Prototyping : Developed a rapid process for fixturing design and scale
Brief : By leveraging foamcore and wood for initial prototypes, I minimized costs and significantly reduced fixture development time, which is a valuable efficiency in the fixture development lifecycle. This iterative approach allows for better design adjustments early in the process, saving both time and resources before finalizing the prototypes for production.
